NOW HIRING: TIRE, LUBE & GENERAL REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Alignment Experience a Plus
Master Auto Care & Tire | Jupiter, FL
ABOUT MASTER AUTO CARE & TIRE
Master Auto Care & Tire is an independent automotive repair shop in Jupiter, Florida since 2001. We provide preventive maintenance, tire service, wheel alignments, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs. Our work ranges from everyday transportation to vintage and classic vehicles, giving our team exposure to a variety of vehicles and service needs.
Our approach is straightforward: understand the customer’s concern, inspect the vehicle thoroughly, document what we find, and complete authorized repairs correctly. We want customers to understand their vehicle’s condition and feel confident in the work we recommend.
We use Shop-Ware for repair orders and digital vehicle inspections, along with Detect Auto during the write-up process to review service history and maintenance needs. Our equipment includes a Road Force balancer, tire tread measurement tools, a dedicated alignment rack, and an ADAS calibration bay.
We expect clear communication between technicians, service consultants, and management. Accurate inspection notes, useful photos, complete repair stories, and final quality checks are part of the job. That includes documenting what is in good condition—not just what needs attention.
We value people who take ownership of their work, respect their teammates, care for shop equipment, and keep their workspace organized. We’re looking for someone who can contribute to our daily tire, maintenance, and general repair workload while continuing to develop their skills.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position focuses on tire and lube services, preventive maintenance, and general mechanical repairs. The right candidate can handle routine services independently, recognize concerns that require further inspection, and communicate findings clearly.
Wheel alignment experience is a plus, but it is not required to apply. Alignment work may be assigned based on your experience and demonstrated ability.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid maintenance.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
- Use Road Force balancing equipment and document results when applicable.
- Inspect and service tire pressure monitoring systems.
- Perform brake inspections and repairs.
- Complete steering, suspension, and other general repairs within your demonstrated ability.
- Perform wheel alignments if qualified, including inspecting related components, interpreting readings, and verifying results.
- Perform digital vehicle inspections with clear notes, measurements, and photos showing both concerns and items in good condition.
- Document completed work and report additional findings to the service consultant.
- Perform pre- and post-repair road tests as assigned, when safe.
- Complete final quality checks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Hands-on experience in tire service, oil changes, and general automotive repair.
- Alignment experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform common maintenance and mechanical repairs independently.
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow shop procedures.
- Dependable attendance and accurate time tracking.
- Clear communication and a cooperative attitude.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and ask for assistance when needed.
- A valid driver’s license.
